Recording, video, transcription, translation, and AI — all run entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Your audio never leaves the device.
iPhone and iPad · iOS 18+ (watch features need watchOS 11+, iPhone only). Free to start · one-time Pro unlock.
Tomorrow's meeting starts at 10; I'll share the materials in advance.
✓ TranslateTurn recordings and videos into text on the spot — then translate, summarize, and build minutes, all on-device.
Just speak into the mic and get text on the spot — meetings, interviews, memos.
Tap the watch screen while recording and a marker lands right there. It lands a little before your tap (15 seconds by default), so reacting after you hear something still works. Put the complication on your watch face and one tap takes you straight to the marker screen. No iPhone at hand? The watch can record on its own, up to 45 minutes.
Tap Quick Note on your watch face and start talking once the watch taps your wrist. Pause and it stops on its own and sends to your iPhone, where your notes show up as text in the Notes tab, in the order you said them. With Pro, filler words are removed, punctuation is added, each note gets a title and a category, and dates open as calendar drafts.
On the big screen, History shows the list and the transcript side by side, so switching entries doesn’t send you back and forth. Text and summaries keep a comfortable reading width, and it works in portrait, landscape, Split View and Stage Manager. Apple Watch features stay on iPhone.
Pick a video from your library; the audio is extracted and turned into text.
From Voice Memos, a messaging app, or cloud storage — just pick Mojiokoshi in the share sheet. No saving it out and opening it again, and several at once is fine. You can also pick an m4a / mp3 / wav straight from the Files app (the photo library can’t hold audio, so your own recordings come in this way). Everything the app receives stays inside your device.
Translate your transcript into ~20 languages with one tap. With language packs it works offline — all on-device.
Type what you want to say and on-device AI suggests 3-4 natural phrasings per situation. Choose Apple Intelligence or Qwen (high accuracy) — all on-device.
On-device AI turns your transcripts into key points, decisions, and to-dos. Export as PDF / Markdown / Word. Long recordings are processed in chunks — all on-device. Below iOS 26, download the high-accuracy model from Settings first.
WhisperKit for transcription, Apple's Translation framework for translation, Apple Intelligence or Qwen for AI — every one of them runs inside your iPhone or iPad.
Transcripts are auto-saved in History — search and filter, then export as text (.txt) or subtitles (.srt).
Japanese, English, Chinese and ~99 languages, with automatic language detection. Pick Tiny / Base / Small / Large v3 to balance accuracy and speed.
Make it yours with 7 themes — including Midnight — and a glassy UI.
No servers, no analytics SDKs, no ads. Recordings and videos are processed on-device, and both transcripts and audio stay only on your phone.
Core features are free. Pro unlocks unlimited use, translation, AI, and subtitle export.
Mojiokoshi transcribes recordings and videos entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Recognition runs on-device, so it works on a plane, underground, or anywhere without signal. The standard recognition model ships inside the app, so it works offline right after install; a download is needed only if you switch to a larger model.
No, nothing is sent to a server. Mojiokoshi handles transcription, translation and AI entirely on-device, and both recordings and transcripts are stored only on your iPhone. There are no servers, analytics SDKs or ads, and the App Privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
It is not a subscription. Mojiokoshi is free to start, with up to 1 minute per transcription and 5 per day. Mojiokoshi Pro is a one-time purchase you keep for good, with no auto-renewal. Pro removes the time and count limits and unlocks translation, AI Summary & Minutes, the AI Advisor (Intent Phrasing), and text / subtitle (.srt) export.
Yes. Tap that app’s share button and pick Mojiokoshi, and the files come straight in (several at once is fine). In the Files app you can also long-press a file and use “Share” or “Open in”. Videos in your photo library can be picked too. Anything the app receives stays inside your device.
Mojiokoshi runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. On iPad, History shows the list and the transcript side by side (since 1.11). An Apple Watch is not required — everything except Quick Notes works with iPhone alone. With an Apple Watch on watchOS 11 or later, you can tap the watch screen to drop a marker while recording, record on the watch by itself when your iPhone isn’t with you (up to 45 minutes per recording), or leave a quick note just by speaking from your watch face. Apple Watch features need an iPhone, because iPad cannot pair with Apple Watch.
About 99 languages, including Japanese, English and Chinese, with the spoken language detected automatically. If detection struggles, you can pin recognition to Japanese, English or Chinese. With Mojiokoshi Pro, transcripts can be translated into about 20 languages.
Yes. Quick notes don’t count toward the 5 free transcriptions a day, and each can be up to 1 minute long. They’re transcribed on your iPhone; notes that arrive while the app isn’t open are transcribed together the next time you open it. Mojiokoshi Pro raises the limit to 3 minutes per note and adds tidying (title, category and punctuation), calendar drafts, and exporting or summarizing a day. Tidying needs Apple Intelligence or an AI model downloaded in the app.
